Mr. Burke has spent the last four years in financial consulting a medical products company, software developer, several retailers, a telecommunications company as well as several high tech and life sciences start-up companies. Prior to that, he managed the planning and forecasting function for IBM Global Services with respect to one of their accounts. Earlier in his career, Mr. Burke started and managed the Activity-Based-Management function for AT&T's Data Communications Business. He began his career on Wall Street doing planning and analysis work for Kidder Peabody & Company before becoming CFO for Irwin Union Capital Corporation.
Mr. Burke holds a BS in Finance from Indiana University and an MBA from Pace University. |

Patrick Diercks, Senior Consultant

As a consultant Mr. Diercks has participated in numerous projects involving the development and analysis of cash flows, budgets, inventories and business plans across both the manufacturing/consumer products and retail industries for companies of various sizes. He has also participated in cases in both the debtor and creditors rights sides of bankruptcy. In the process improvement arena he has worked on the development of labor standards and various other related projects. Mr. Diercks has also worked in Clear Thinking Group's sell-side advisory practice.
He graduated from The Florida State University with a degree in Finance.

Her responsibilities include preparation and review of financial statements, management of physical inventory and subsequent reconciliations, administration of field accounting procedures, centralization of accounting functions and the implementation of Point of Sales systems in retail locations. Since June 2000 she has focused on bankruptcy procedures. She has expertise in the preparation of initial Trustee schedules, monthly financial reporting, claims analysis, preference analysis, management of the estate’s books and records, and interaction with Creditors' committees. |

Mr. Gehringer has over twenty three years of advisory and corporate experience in assisting senior management and other parties in interest in the area of financial and operational restructuring, loan work outs and business and strategic planning. Prior to joining Clear Thinking Group, Mr. Gehringer was with Weiser LLP. Previously he was with PriceWaterhouse Coopers and FTI consulting, Inc. serving in advisory capacities. He had 17 years in various financial and operating capacities at retailers including J Crew, Fingerhut, Federated, Popular Club Division, Hanover Direct and Herman's Sporting Goods.
Mr. Gehringer holds a bachelors degree in finance from Seton Hall University and has earned a certification as a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. |

Rhonda Hamrick, Senior Consultant

Ms. Hamrick has over 25 years of finance and accounting experience in manufacturing and retail operations. She was responsible for managing the inventory and accounts payable function for a national specialty retailer. Ms. Hamrick's experience also includes Cash Management, Cost Accounting, Financial Statement preparation and analysis. In addition for the last two years, she has acted as a consultant on the financial operations of a bankruptcy wind-down team involved in liquidating the assets of a specialty retailer.

Ms. Jefferds has consulted a variety of companies nationwide. She has participated in supply chain diagnostics, operational procedure development, and efficiency strategies for retailers and wholesalers. In addition, she has had roles in financial advisory teams for Chapter 11 reorganization projects, bankruptcy wind-downs, and has participated in sell-side M&A transactions. Prior to joining the Clear Thinking Group team, she worked with a Florida-based marketing firm. She was responsible for preparation, issuance, and delivery of contract materials, preparation of status reports, including, activity, closings, follow-up and the organization of data.
Ms. Jefferds graduated from the Florida State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Finance. She has also attended Tianjin Foreign Studies University in Tianjin, China. She is proficient in both German and Mandarin-Chinese languages. |
