Stuart H. Kessler
Mr. Kessler is a founding partner and President of Clear Thinking Group. As a consultant for the past nine years, Mr. Kessler has been engaged by numerous consumer product companies needing assistance with strategic, financial and operating alternatives. He has over twenty five years of experience in a variety of senior merchandising and operational positions with several major U.S. organizations; President, Footlocker - Outlet Division, COO, Champs Sports, COO, F. W. Woolworth Division, COO/CMO, Herman's Sporting Goods, and VP/GMM, Ames Department Stores.
He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and American Bankruptcy Institute. |

Jim Bunn
Mr. Bunn has over 25 years of professional experience within consumer product industries, manufacturing and consulting. He has provided consulting services to retailers and manufacturers in all phases of strategy, logistics, store operations, distribution / warehousing operations and systems implementation. He has significant experience in strategy, supply chain strategy and operations, internet operations, reverse logistics, business process improvement, change management, program management, vendor partnerships, store operations, labor management, activity based costing and systems implementation.
Mr. Bunn was a senior manager with Bearing Point where he had a proven track record in enterprise wide projects ranging from cost reduction to customer service focused initiatives.
He has an Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and a MBA from Georgia State. Mr. Bunn leads the Clear Thinking Group's Process & Performance Improvement group, and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. |

Paul Davies
Mr. Davies is an accomplished senior executive with over 36 years of experience with both public and private consumer product companies. He has held key management positions with Allied Stores Corporation, May Department Stores, Federated Department Stores, Marshall's and Barbara K Enterprises. He was President and CEO of Garden Ridge Corporation, Champs Sports, and Woolworth USA. Prior to Joining Clear Thinking Group, he was Executive Vice President of Value City Department Stores.
Mr. Davies has had direct responsibility for the merchandising, stores, planning, marketing, logistics, human resources, information technology, real estate legal and sourcing organizations throughout this career. He holds a BBA in Marketing from St. John's University. |

Lee A. Diercks
Mr. Diercks is a founding partner of Clear Thinking Group. He has over thirty years of direct management and leadership experience spanning companies such as JC Penney, Coast to Coast Hardware/Total Sports, Herman's Sporting Goods, Woolworth, Champs Sports, and Jumbo Sports. His experience includes senior management roles in Operations, Logistics & Distribution, Merchandising, Planning and Allocation, Marketing, and Strategy Development. For the last twelve years, he has worked in the Corporate Renewal / Turnaround industry with companies in Manufacturing, Distribution, Consumer products, and Retail sectors. He has worked with companies facing severe financial distress, and has taken the interim management roles of CRO and CEO to provide leadership and direction to those businesses.
Mr. Diercks leads the Clear Thinking Group Financial Advisory & Restructuring practice and holds a BA in Business/Marketing from St. Thomas University, and a MBA from Impac University. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). |

Amir Zfira
Mr. Zfira has over fourteen years of experience advising businesses in the consumer product, staffing, manufacturing, food processing and retail industries. Mr. Zfira joined Clear Thinking Group seven years ago. During his tenure with Clear Thinking Group, he has managed numerous projects working with companies experiencing financial and operating challenges. These assignments include working with a personnel staffing company and various consumer product manufacturers, which among other markets have included recreational/sporting goods, electronics and apparel.
Mr. Zfira recently held the position of CRO for a $100 million revenue food processing company and was instrumental in refocusing the business allowing an equity transaction to be completed. Prior to joining Clear Thinking Group, Mr. Zfira spent a number of years with a New York based investment bank where he helped manage a private placement department focused on middle market companies, both regional and national in scope. Mr. Zfira was responsible for various functions including due diligence, financial analysis and the production of detailed Business Plans.
