Mr. Kessler is a founding partner and President of Clear Thinking Group LLC. As a consultant for twenty years, he has been engaged by numerous companies needing assistance with strategic, financial and operating alternatives. As part of these engagements, Mr. Kessler has served as interim CEO/CRO. His areas of expertise include merchandising, operations, logistics, process and productivity improvement, strategic financial planning, restructuring, organizational planning, and acquisition assessment.
Mr. Kessler has published or contributed to articles on subjects such as consumer product and retail strategy, retail labor scheduling, consumer product and retail sales trends, retail real-estate trends, retail mergers and acquisitions, ecommerce retailing, merchandising trends in the consumer product and retail market place, catalog retailing and the turnaround processes for consumer product companies.
Prior to founding Clear Thinking Group, Mr. Kessler spent over twenty-five years in a variety of senior leadership positions with consumer product and retail organizations including: President, iSolve.com, President, Footlocker – Outlet Division; COO, Champs Sports; COO, F.W. Woolworth Division; COO/CMO, Herman’s Sporting Goods; and VP/GMM Ames Department Stores.
Mr. Kessler is a member of the Secured Finance Network, Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and Retail Marketing Society.
